      Ciril Hitz's books are mostly yeast, rather than sourdough, oriented but that shouldn't hinder anyone from reading them.I have his book on bread. While not a mystery or thriller, this shortm intensely readable book combines tech and food in San Francisco with a winning protagonist and her arc of development as she leaves Michigan, goes to work for a quite-credible arm robot company, and then one day is given sourdough starter from her favorite cooks, starter that has an unusual history/5.

Sourdough Creek by Caroline Fyffe is my kind of book. I love and truly enjoy a well-written sweet (clean) romance novel. From the beginning, the book just grabbed my attention and had me intrigued. I wanted, no I NEEDED to know why these two girls were dressing up as boys!/5.
